Once the Approval in Principle is issued, we start the Visa process.

The general rule of thumb is that the candidate books their Visa appointment following the Visa application process in their country.** If granted a Visa, candidates can then travel to Malta and start their employment. We gladly provide assistance to employers and candidates (if required) after the candidate arrives in Malta.

 

Candidates from EU member states will not have to go through the Visa process. Visa procedures need only be undertaken by candidates coming from outside the EU.

Note:
*Maltese candidates, once hired, will not undergo the ID Malta process but will be directly registered by their new employer with Jobsplus.
**Please check your country of residence as to Visa requirements, if any, as Visa arrangements between the EU and other countries outside the EU may vary. There is no guarantee that the Visa will be approved or granted.
