The Seamstress will be responsible for crafting, altering, and repairing custom interior fabrics such as curtains, upholstery, and soft furnishings with precision and attention to detail.

Job Requirements 

• Experience: 1-2 years experience in a similar role & industry
• Skills: Ability to sew, alter, and repair fabric items using both manual and industrial sewing machines
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of fabric types, patterns, and sewing techniques
• Work Ethic: Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines and project timelines

Job Requirements 

• Proven experience in upholstery, including cutting, sewing, fitting, and finishing a variety of furniture pieces.
• Ability to work with different fabrics, leathers, and materials, ensuring precision and high-quality finishes.
• Strong knowledge of upholstery tools and equipment, with a focus on safe and efficient usage.
• Ability to read and interpret design specifications, drawings, and client requirements to produce accurate work.
• Skilled in padding, webbing, and frame preparation techniques for both new and reupholstered items.
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on delivering flawless finishes and meeting project deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining good communication with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding basic English.
